Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data AI Meta Suite (operator of AI Auto Reply for Facebook) collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. We’ve written it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us. We’ll happily explain.

1. What data we collect

We collect the minimum information required to operate AI Auto Reply for Facebook. Specifically:

• Account information. When you purchase a paid plan, our payment provider (Paddle) collects your email address, billing name, and payment details. We receive your email and a license key reference, but we never see card numbers.
• License activation data. When you activate the extension, your license key and a one-time installation identifier are sent to our license server so we can validate your subscription and enforce monthly quotas.
• Comment text (transient). When you click "AI Reply" on a Facebook comment, the text of that comment (and, on Starter, image content for vision analysis) is sent to our service to generate the reply. It is processed in memory and not retained after the response is returned.
• Settings. Your custom prompt, tone preferences, and active license are stored locally in your browser via Chrome's storage.local API. They never leave your device.

We do not collect: your Facebook account credentials, the contents of private messages, page analytics, or any data outside of explicit "AI Reply" actions you initiate.

2. How we use your data

We use the data described above only to:

• Generate AI replies in response to your explicit clicks.
• Validate your license and enforce plan limits.
• Send transactional email (purchase receipts, license keys, security notices).
• Provide customer support when you contact us.

We do not use your data to train machine-learning models, build advertising profiles, or sell to third parties. Ever.

3. Data storage & retention

License records and email addresses are stored on servers located in the United States and the European Union, encrypted at rest. We retain license records for as long as your subscription is active and for up to 24 months after cancellation, for accounting and compliance purposes. After that period they are permanently deleted.

Comment text submitted for AI generation is processed in memory by our AI provider and is not written to long-term storage by us. See section 4 below for our AI provider's retention policies.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of vendors to deliver the service. Each is bound by its own privacy commitments:

• OpenAI: our AI provider. Comment text and your custom prompt are sent to OpenAI to generate replies. Per OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models and is retained only for short-term abuse monitoring.
• Paddle: our payment processor and merchant of record. Paddle collects and stores billing information independently of us.
• Postmark: our transactional email provider, used to send receipts and license keys.
• Cloudflare: DDoS protection and edge networking for our license API.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU, UK, California), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to lawful retention requirements).
• Export your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@aimetasuite.com from the address associated with your account. We respond within 30 days.

6. Children's privacy

AI Auto Reply for Facebook is a B2B tool intended for use by adults managing business pages. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect.
