You need to create an account with one of the supported AI providers — OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google — and generate an API key from their developer dashboard. Each provider offers a free trial to get started. Once you have the key, open the extension and paste it into the Settings page.
This usually happens when Facebook updates their interface. First, refresh the page. If the issue persists, check our status page to see if there's an active issue, or try reinstalling the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
The extension supports OpenAI (GPT models), Anthropic (Claude models), and Google (Gemini models). You can switch between providers at any time from the Settings page inside the extension.
Yes. Your API key is stored locally in the browser using Chrome's secure storage. It is never sent to our servers — it communicates directly between the extension and the AI provider you chose.
The most common reasons are: an invalid or expired API key, insufficient API credits on the provider account, or a temporary outage from the AI provider. Check your provider's dashboard to confirm your key is active and has available quota.
Open the extension's Settings page from the popup. There you can configure the reply tone (friendly, professional, empathetic, etc.), preferred language, and reply length.
Currently, the extension is designed exclusively for Meta Business Suite on Facebook. Support for other platforms may come in future updates.
